Front Royal Accommodations
Nestled on the Registered Historical Grounds of Fairview Farm, the Fairview House offers a unique stay rich in history. Built by Samuel Shackelford after the Revolutionary War, legend holds that the Revolutionary Army camped on these very grounds during their marches through the Commonwealth.
Overlooking the scenic greens of Shenandoah Valley Golf Club, this carefully restored two-story timber house sits adjacent to the clubhouse, making it an ideal retreat for Golf Packages, Golf Schools, and Romantic Getaways. It also serves as a perfect setting for business off-site meetings.
The historic Fairview House accommodates up to eight guests in three separate parlors/bedrooms. At its heart lies the “publik room,” a beautifully designed gathering space on the lower level. Featuring brick floors, exposed beam ceilings, and a large stone fireplace, this inviting area is perfect for post-golf relaxation. Additional highlights include gentlemen’s and ladies’ parlors, a small kitchenette, and informal seating areas—providing a warm and welcoming environment for any occasion.
